Every Monday Guardians of Valor does some sort of guild event.  While RvR is a popular event this particular week we decided to see what the depths of Formor were like.  Could we make it to the Hydra?  We met in Aalid Feie, grouped up and headed out.

There were many fun bosses and big mobs waiting for us.

After getting pretty far in we got to a rather quiet area with a rock overhang.

Just in time we noticed the menacing chains hanging from the walls and readied our spells and weapons.   Out came the mobs.

After killing them we had another challenge: Can you make it down the windy stairs without falling off to your certain death?

They went on and on, heading into something we feared might take the whole force down.

But it turned out to be the secret Barbara Streisand Concert hall after all.   We pulled up chairs and readied ourselves for a great concert.

But then the bouncers came and booted us out due to lack of tickets.   We had to press on.

After clearing the audience and heading through a small backstage door we were there!  Stop, drop and buff was the command and everyone prepared for our battle with the Hydra.

I think we would have had more luck if we had waited until after the concert when the Hydra had had a few beers but we gave it our best.  Next time!
