The Hunt is On!! Posted by
Profit@ 11:22 PM EST
If you know anything about Guardians of Valor, you know that once in a while we do something silly for our guild events. This one doesn't quite rank up there with the lurikeen zerg to odins gate, or the animist zerg to AMG, but it was FUN!
The officers were spread out and hiding somewhere in old Hibernia, and our level 1 contestants had to follow clues to be the first to find them all. When it was all over we had 5 winners out of 14 people who collected a total of 33 Platinum in prizes!!
Congratulations to Makdud, Squishar, Uprooted, Olig and Hiei for their 1st through 5th place finishes! Thanks to Icyglaze for the idea, and thanks to Rayado, Kenshiin and Aetius for organizing it with me. I hope everyone had a good time!
But that's not all... just after our Guild Event finished, Piggington completed his long journey through the experience grind and reached level 50!!! Congratulations Piggington!
Congratulations to our new guild leader Rayado! Posted by

Please help me in congratulating Rayado on his promotion to guild leader. Rayado is replacing me in this promotion, a replacement I am both happy and sad to announce. Sad in that I'm stepping down to pursue other gaming interests but happy because I know that Rayado has been fulfilling the responsibilities of guild leader for some time and this is a well-deserved promotion.
Guardians of Valor has always been lead by three leaders in the hopes that there will be balance in decisions made. In addition, the leaders rely heavily on the opinions of both the officers and the guild members as a whole in making decisions that will make GoV the best commuinity for our members. When a new leader is selected it has always been that the current leaders select the person they believe will best fill the role. In almost all cases, the choice is clear like it was with the decision for Rayado. He's been an active leader for GoV for some time and we are pleased to make his leadership contribution formalized by recognizing him with this promotion.
Congratulations Rayado from all of GoV!

Talk about leveling! Congratulations to Karis on his seventh level 50! Yes, that's right, his seventh! On top of that, Kairis, his druid, is getting there too at level 49 right now. A job well done and keep them coming!
