Alchemy and Realm Points

Congratulations to our crafters who continue to gain skill, even in the very expensive levels. Daf is almost at 950 and Profit/Liloo is at 919. Botulism is still leveling heavily and we have many others in the guild working hard between RvR and XP runs to get their skills up.

A second congratulations goes to Profit for being the first in the guild to reach two million realm points!

Congratulations on Reaching 50 Hiei

Recently that scurvy Nightshade, Hiei reached 50 for the second time. His first 50 was a ranger (Miaka). Hiei and Loran finished their epic quest together and now they are both sporting their epic armour and wide grins. Congratulations!!

Over the past week or two we've had a number of people reach level 50. Congratulations to Hotndots, Aeiel, Nolotad and now Loran on finishing their XP journey! We'd also like to congratulate Madroxe on becoming the guilds newest Silver Hand (Realm Rank 6 @ 1,010,625 rps). And Sagewood for reaching 1100 in Armorcraft! Keep up the great work!

Wow, Daf has been working so hard. And you might not think that just pushing the "craft" button is hard, but ask any high level crafter and you'll get an earfull. He's been running back and forth from the merchants and leveling at an amazing speed. In addition, he's been helping out folks in the guild with all their alchemy needs and many in the realm as well. Daf has also helped us with how Alchemy and spellcrafting work with info and links in our forums. Congratulations to Daf (who is almost 900 in alchemy!)

Guardians of Valor Congratulates Botulism!

Congratulations to Botulism for reaching 800 in Spellcrafting and being the first in GoV to gain the title of Master Spellcrafter. Botulism has been working hard and has gained in skill with days and hours of dedication to pushing the button. Congratulations!

Congratulations Gobsmasha, Stylez, Problum and Bruinor!

Wow, many exciting things have been happening in Guardians of Valor recently. Congratulations first to Gobsmasha for reaching 1000 in Weaponcrafting last night. Weaponcrafting is frightfully expensive to level and making 1000 takes hours, days, what seems like months of sitting at the forge, running for supplies and making cash XP runs when you're broke. Gobsmasha persevered and has made it, three cheers!

Second, congratulations to Stylez, Bruinor and Problum (Profit's alt) on reaching level 50. We got together an epic armor run and Problum made 50 about 30 minutes before killing Green Maw on the epic steps XP rewards. A special congratulations to Problum for his amazing speed in leveling Problum to 50. It only took Problum 13 months to reach level 50. Impressive!

Last, congratulations again to our guild Spellcrafters and Alchemists who have been working day and night leveling their craft.

Patch Dance

Yesterday the 1.54 patch finally went live after a prolonged anticipatory wait from the DAoC community. We're pleased to announce GoV has many new Spellcrafters and Alchemists, some of which made over 500 in their trade skill on the first day! TNN was a frame rate nightmare as people swarmed poor Saffa and Cedric for supplies.

1.54 also gave us the ability to duel each other. Ardee was packed with people dueling. It was a veritable who's who from RvR as people challenged each other and went at it.

Everyone was so busy with crafting and dueling that Darkness Falls was neutral for almost 12 hours until Albion went and took a Midgard keep.

Congratulations Dredkin and Bryoni!

A huge congratulations to both Dredkin and Bryoni for reaching 1100 in their trade skill. Leveling out to 1100 enables them to make every piece of armor in the game as a team. Dredkin is a tailor and can make all cloth and leather armor and Bryoni is an armorcrafter who can make all reinforced and scale armor. This is a significant investment in both time and funds they have both made. Thanks to everyone in the guild who has donated their cash to help Dredkin and Bryoni reach their goals of 1100! Congratulations again!

Congratulations to Cytharaul on his promotion to Guild Officer!

We wanted to extend our congratulations to Cythraul on his promotions to guild officer! Cythraul has been a gaming and morale leader in Guardians of Valor for many months and the officers are very excited he'll be helping shape the future of Guardians of Valor in this new leadership position.

Please join me in congratulating Jackryan on his promotion to guild leader tonight! Rheanae, one of our longest standing guild leaders has decided to step down to spend more time on some real life things. If you're confused by this check your /played time. If it's over 30 days then you may not remember what "real life" is. Imagine life not in front of a monitor, keyboard and mouse and that's kind of the idea. If your /played time is over 50 days maybe you could imagine it as something like an off-line chat room with much better graphics and framerate. Rheanae will definitely still be around and we look forward to playing with her.

Jackryan is stepping into the leader shoes with Profit and Pharaoh. Traditionally Guardians of Valor has been lead by three leaders who work together with the officers and guild members to define the guild's charter and goals. Congratulations Jackryan!

Congratulations to both Bryoni and Karnaj on their crafting accomplishments. Bryoni has reached 1000 in armorcrafting and Karnaj made the difficult 900 in weaponcrafting. Congratulations to both of you on your hard work!
