New Guild Leader

Guardians of Valor has had some great guild leaders over its nearly four year history, and while we are reluctant to say goodbye to Rayado as he steps down, we are very pleased to announce our newest leader.... Namotom!

Some of you know him as his animist Downobneadh, or maybe as his ranger Brail, or possibly as his bard Cantmove or his druid Noneya. But whichever character he is playing aside, he has always been a great asset to the guild, and just as he made a fine officer we are confident he will make an excellent guild leader.

Congratulations Namotom, Guardians of Valor welcomes you as it's newest rank zero.

Resigning From the Guild Leader Position

Guardians of Valor has been my home for over 2 years now. I am feel like it is family. But with time, I have seen myself and and the guild grow. And with growth comes change. I feel that it is time for me to step down as co-guild leader to allow new blood to help direct the guild in the next era of DAoC to come. I has been my honor to server as your guild leader and well always look upon Guardians of Valor with only the best thoughts.

While I am planning on leaving most of my toons in GoV, I feel that with stepping down I need a chance to try an new guild experience in order to prevent DAoC from become stale to me. I will be moving some of my mains out of the guild to another. I will still try to make the events and meetings but without expanding my horizens I feel that I will bore with the game and could possible decide to quit it all together. With any career, you move from company to company in order to get new experiences and challenges.

Once again I want to wish all the officers and Guild leaders the best of luck in leading Guardians of Valor to a bright future. Please attend next monday's event to hear the announcement of who the next guild leader will be. I hope only the best that person and personally know the challenges that waits him or her.
