Have a history of being an active participator on the GoV forums

Have reasonable play time each week. While officers are not required to
be online a certain amount of time each week, guild officers are needed
in-game to help with guild issues.

Be willing to discuss the recruitment process with any recruit candidate

Be willing to manage members and alts for the GoV web site. Note that
this process is automated through online tools and does not require any
knowledge of web programming.

Be willing to perform tasks for the guild meeting including but not
limited to reviewing all member and building a promotions list, taking
guild meeting notes and posting them to the member's forum, running a
guild meeting and participating in the officer meeting prior to the
guild meeting.

Contribute to all discussions within the officers’ forum. Officers are
key members of the guild who help to define policy and help to handle
any issues that may arise with the guild and its members. An officer's
participation in forum and game discussions is of key importance.

Be willing to collect guild donations

Create news posts to recognize member and guild achievements. Note that
there is a tool to manage this and no knowledge of web development is
required.

Manage member forum access and let the forum administrators know if any
membership should be revoked or changed.

Participate in guild events whenever possible

Help to coordinate and/or run guild events

Manage the guild keeps by helping to coordinate groups to claim,
upgrading and downgrading when appropriate.

While guild members are not restricted
to having characters in only one guild, due to the responsibility
associated with the rank of officer, officers and officer candidates
should not have alternate characters in any other active guild.
